Sibyl Arnett is a slightly obsessive woman who wanted a place to put her thoughts down in longer than 140 characters/without a microphone needing to be involved, and decided that starting a whole blog for various projects would be a good catch-all for them. In a slight bit of ego, she also puts up journals that are effectively just cheap therapy and tries to work through personal issues amidst the actually entertaining stuff.

Stolen without shame from the author’s first introduction to gabba (note: epileptics beware), it seemed like a good name for a site that was not going to be to everyone’s taste, but probably hit like a rocket with the correct niche. Bonus: the domain was free since whoever owned it prior let it lapse. Said author is guaranteed to recreate that tribute page someday as a side-page on this site.
